Admissions

Children can join our Nursery at the start of the term that falls after their third birthday. The nursery is made up of three different sessions: morning, afternoon and full time. The timings for these sessions are as follows: 

Morning place: 8.40am – 11.45am 

Afternoon place: 12.15pm – 3.20pm

Full Time place: 8.40am – 3.20pm (A full time place requires either a 30 hour code or incurs a 'top up' fee)

You can apply for any of the above sessions however, if we are able to offer you a place in our nursery, we cannot guarantee an offer of your requested session. 

All three and four year olds are entitled to receive 15 hours free of charge.

Full time places are available if you are eligible for the 30 hour code, or you are able to elect to pay a top up fee if you are not eligible for the code.

The top up fee is payable each half term.

Please note: the offer of a Nursery place does not guarantee the offer of a place in Reception.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council co-ordinate all admissions to the Reception classes at Langford.

• Transfer from Langford Nursery to Reception is not automatic. Children who attend our Nursery are still required to apply for a Reception place at the school through the Local Authority.
• We welcome children from a range of nursery schools, other settings or from home.

In Year Admissions are when children join Langford during the school year. 

To apply for a place at Langford please email a copy of your child/ren passport and proof of address to admissions@langfordprimary.org.uk.

Appeals for Admission to Reception  

Parents whose application for a place is unsuccessful have the right to appeal the decision. This must be expressed in accordance with the school’s Admissions Criteria. Should you wish to appeal, please complete an appeal form on which you must list your reasons for making an appeal. Appeals should be addressed for the attention of the United Learning Governors and sent via email to  admissions@langfordprimary.org.uk or via post to Langford for Primary School, Gilstead Road, London, SW6 2LG.

Open Events

We are very pleased to invite you to Langford Primary School for one of our Open Events.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to get to know our school and learn about our curriculum and values.
Our open events are held every Tuesday at 10:00am, hosted by our Head of School, Mrs Kidds.
We also offer personalised tours with our Head of School Mrs Kidds.
